Holly and John were having an amazing 'Alice in Wonderland' theme to their February wedding. Holly very much wanted to include the characters from the book but was worried that her stationery would resemble a child's party invitation! As her colours were navy and grey it was important not to start throwing other colours into the mix so I set to work. Holly chose the tri-fold option so she would have plenty of room for all her information along with a tear-off reply card. The end result was a stylish invitation with coordinating panels of navy and grey. The front featured a silhouette of Alice with the inner pages complete with various other characters faded out into the background. A design that worked out perfectly!
Hannah and Charlie came with thoughts and ideas for their November wedding. Due to the time of yer that they were getting married their choice of flower was Sea Holly which very much resembles a thistle. We talked quite briefly about how this could be incorporated into their stationery and then the conversation moved towards what can only be described as their greatest joy - their two dogs! After they had left I set to work on their invitations but without telling them I changed from the Sea Holly and created a design which featured both dogs. Needless to say they were over the moon with the design and their invites were finished off with 'doggy' envelope liners too! One of my absolute faves and what a lovely couple!
Alessandra wanted a 'Disney' theme to her invites as she had had many holidays visiting Mickey and Minnie! Silhouettes of the stars themselves were placed against a brush stroke layer in Alessandra's chosen colour. Evening invites showing Mikey and Minnie dancing were also created.
A table plan was also designed to finish everything off with tables including Magic Kingdom, Peter Pan, Mickey & Minnie (obviously!), Little Mermaid, Beauty & the Beast and Toy Story.
